Terms & Conditions

By booking with JD Studio you agree to the terms below.

They're here so everything runs smoothly & we both know where we stand.

Bookings

Commissions are secured with a signed booking agreement & deposit. Dates are only confirmed once both are received.

Payments

A 50% deposit is required to book. The balance is due 5 business days before your shoot.

Payments are non refundable but may be transferred to a new date at my discretion.

Shoots

Studio hire, location fees & travel outside Newcastle are quoted separately.

Property & interiors shoots rely on the space being ready & styled on the day.

Delivery

Final images are delivered via online gallery within 2 to 3 weeks. High resolution & web sized JPEGs are supplied.

RAW files are not provided. Galleries stay live for 8 weeks after delivery, so please download your images within that time.

Usage & licensing

The client who books receives a licence to use the final images for their own marketing, including social media, website, press & advertising. Copyright remains with JD Studio.

Sharing images with third parties such as builders, designers, agents or suppliers needs a separate licence, which I'm happy to arrange.

Credit is appreciated when sharing online, tag @jemmadarling.studio.

JD Studio may use images for portfolio & marketing unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Reschedules & cancellations

Please give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule. Short notice changes may incur a fee. For illness, weather or anything out of your control, I'll work with you to find a new date.

Limited edition prints

Prints are made to order. Please allow up to 14 business days for production & delivery. Each print is signed, numbered & packaged with care. All sales are final. If a print arrives damaged or faulty, contact me within 7 days of delivery & I'll arrange a replacement. Prices are in AUD & include GST.
